Jeremy Grelle - Building Spring-powered RIAs with Adobe Flex and Spring BlazeDS Integration
The Adobe Flash runtime offers a superb platform for delivering next-generation web applications, and Adobe Flex provides the ideal programming model for building these applications and connecting them to a Java-based server platform. Connecting a Flex front end to a Spring-based service layer has long been possible, but it hasn't always been easy or obvious how to do so without a heavy investment in proprietary technology. Spring BlazeDS Integration solves this problem by providing deep integration of the powerful Adobe BlazeDS remoting and messaging features with the familiar Spring programming model.
